The iconic phone is here, back from the ashes of time to conquer the world once again. HMD Global has finally unveiled the all new Nokia 3310 at MWC 2017 going on at Barcelona. The company has brought the phone again with a ‘modern twist’. HMD Global, the brand responsible for manufacturing and selling Nokia branded phones has also confirmed that the all new feature phone Nokia 3310 will come to India in the 2nd quarter of 2017.
Nokia 3310 is the successor of Nokia 3210, and was first launched in September 2000. The phone went on to be the highest selling phone with 126 million units sold until the year 2015. The all new Nokia 3310 (2017) is priced at EUR 49 (approx Rs 3,500).
Talking about specs, the company claims the phone has a month-long battery standby time and 22 hours of talk-time. The Nokia 3310 also brings back the nostalgic Snake game with it. It will come in four colors with two different finishes – Warm Red and Yellow with a gloss finish and Dark Blue and Grey with a matte finish. However, Nokia has ditched the contemporary pin charger and features at micro-USB port on the revamped phone.
The phone also sports a 2-megapixel rear camera along with LED flash. Talking about the display, it sports a 2.4-inch QVGA display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The phone supports 2G connectivity only and runs on Nokia Series 30+ operating system. It also gets 16MB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB with a MicroSD card. It has a battery capacity of 1200mAh.
